International Workshop Application of Electrochemical Techniques to Organic Coatings - AETOC 2009

In association with:

  • The European Federation of Corrosion (event nº 318) - Working Party "Coatings"

Welcome to the webpage for the Sixth International Workshop on Application of Electrochemical Techniques to Organic Coatings.
After the five previous editions of this workshop held in Schliffkopf (Germany), Jurata (Poland), Sintra (Portugal) and Villard-de-Lans (France) and Baiona (Spain), this sixth edition will be held in Grado (Italy), from April 15 till 18, 2009.

The aim of the AETOC workshop is dealing with all the topics related to recent developments in the application of electrochemical techniques to the study and monitoring of organic coatings, as well as, with the development of novel hybrid, silanes and composite sol-gel coatings with improved adhesion, self healing and protective properties.

The organization of a short training course on the use of electrochemical techniques to study coatings, proposed for young researchers and PhD students, is also foreseen.

A meeting of the ISO TC 39 SC9 WG29 Working Group on standardisation of electrochemical impedance spectroscopy will also be held during the period of the meeting.

We are looking forward to welcome you in Grado.
